Students can study courses that are all approved and used in the 50 States in the U.S. and are recognizedby the University of California and all other Universities nationwide. This instruction is delivered by American teachersin a setting that ranges from individual one-on-one interaction to small group participation. This approach can bechanged as needed to cater to a student whose English skills may need individual assistance and then when ready totransition to a small group setting where a student experiences the true American style class with interaction betweenstudents and teacher and among themselves. In this way, ASAA is preparing our student for the real world experiencethat awalts them if they choose to continue education in an American College.
I have been in education all my life. From graduating from University College Dublin, lreland with my Degree anda Higher Diploma in Education, Honors, I have been a fervent advocate of excellence in schools. I have extensiveexperience both in Elementary and High School teaching subjects such as Biology, Science, English Mathematics andLatin, I was coordinator for the Gifted and Talented Education program in my school District in Southern Califomia andalso Advanced Placement Coordinator for some 20 years. In the early 1990's I became involved with online learningand Immediately saw the benefits of being able to provide individualized leaming opportunities as well as the ablity togive students a way to remediate their grades or move ahead without being slowed by waiting on other students.
ASAA provides opportunities to all students to take advantage of its state of the art online curriculum to remediategrades, to eam credit recovery, to take advanced classes individually or even to eam a fully accredited High SchoolDiploma.
